EU will send experts to Ukraine’s Health Ministry to help implement the second phase of medical reform

Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov has said that the European Union will provide the Ministry of Health with experts to implement the second phase of medical reform in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

Stepanov thanked the EU for supporting the development of Ukraine’s healthcare system.

“I am convinced that the cooperation and professional support from your experts will help us implement the second wave of reform in accordance with international standards and will make us all better prepared, including for any outbreaks of a pandemic in the future,” Stepanov said.

EU representatives, in their turn, noted that they support the initiatives by the Ministry of Health and expressed a desire to strengthen communication and cooperation.
