Five sailors detained in Egypt returned to Ukraine

At night on May 30, another five Ukrainian sailors, who were detained in Egypt last year, arrived at the Odesa airport, as the press office of State Border Guard Service reported.

“Last night, five more sailors, who were detained in Egypt last year, returned to Ukraine. Ukrainians arrived at Odessa airport. As on the eve, the border guards of the Odessa detachment made a separate corridor for them,” the border guards press service reported.

Also the message noted that sailors arrived from Istanbul. They were accompanied by representatives of the Assol Seafarers Foundation.

The passengers have met their relatives, representatives of the Foreign Ministry and the media in the waiting room.

As The Journalist reported, the Egyptian military released a group of the tanker Sea Shark’s sailors.
