Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepaniv during his briefing held on May 13, said that five pharmacological companies in Ukraine, namely, Farmak, Borshchahivka Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant, Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company, Biofarma and Interkhim are working on developing coronavirus drug.
Stepaniv noted that companies are trying to create drugs that will help to treat coronavirus disease.
“For example, Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company delivered substance needed for the production of hydroxychloroquine, and Biopharma registered a clinical trial of Biofit,” the head of the Ministry of Health said.
