Former head of National Police of Kyiv Oblast appointed Police head within JFO

The former head of the National Police of Kyiv Oblast, Dmytro Tsenov, dismissed over the incident involving murder of a five-year-old boy by two police officers, and was appointed as as the police head within the Joint Forces Operation. This was reported by the first deputy head of the National Police Viacheslav Abroskin on Facebook.

“This morning, the Chief of the Joint Operations Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Lieutenant-General Oleksandr Sirsky, presented the new police head within the JFO area, General Dmytro Tsenov. This post implies being in the trenches, at each checkpoint. More than a thousand officers of the National Police of Ukraine are serving as a part of the JFO units, on a permanent basis. Their main task is to identify terrorists, seize weapons and explosives and ensure public order,” said Abroskin.
