Ukraine’s Social Insurance Fund: benefits for temporary disability increased by 32%

The amount of temporary disability benefits, provided by the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine, increased by 31.9% (UAH 54.2) compared with the 2017, the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine reported.
Consequently, the total expenses of the fund increased by almost UAH 1.7 billion (27.7%) compared with 2017 and exceeded UAH 7.74 billion.
The fund explains that such situation is caused by the growth of the minimum wage, as well as by the growth of the wage fund in the country.
As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko said that by 2020, the process of creating UTC should be completed.
