The main Christmas tree of the country invites everyone to visit Sofia and Mikhailovska Squares. This year they decided not to chop a solid tree. 25-meter green beauty collected from several hundred small trees. It is decorated with 1.5 thousand toys in the form of crystals and colored garlands, the total length of which is more than 3 kilometers.
Light illumination, installed around the Christmas tree, complements the fantastic holiday atmosphere. At the foot of the main Christmas decoration of the country is a spherical screen, stylized as the northern lights, through which visitors to the fair have the opportunity to convey their congratulations. There is in the New Year’s town and "Magic tunnel".
Around the monument to Bohdan Khmelnitsky runs a children’s train, and closer to Mikhailovska Square and near the stage, traditionally equipped food courts.
During the New Year and Christmas holidays, dozens of concerts, performances of stars, musical groups and a nativity scene are planned on the stage near the country’s main Christmas tree on Sofia Square.
