Back in June 2018, the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine introduced restrictions for unmanned aircraft and drones (UAVs), but only now it issued a map showing the zones where UAVs could to operate. This was reported by the press service of the department.

The ministry clarified that amid the increasing number of UAVs there is a need to develop rules which will help to integrate new types of aircraft into the existing airspace system.

“Nowadays the issue of safety use of unmanned aircraft is not well regulated, and the current regulatory framework makes it difficult to operate them for commercial, sporting purposes or as a hobby. In view of the rapid development of the unmanned aircraft market, we are working on developing new rules that will safely integrate new types of aircraft to the existing airspace system,” the ministry’s press service said.

According to the new rules, drones weighing up to 20 kg can be launched within the designated zones by writing a letter to Ukraerocenter in 10 working days before the start of flights or by calling the phone number indicated on the State Aviation Administration website.
Note that according to the map, the special permission need to be obtained for flying over Koncha-Zaspa settlement and the house of the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko (Kozin village).
As The Journalist reported, a shooting occurred in the largest city of Canada.
