The US Department of State will provide funding to the contractor who will track arms deals related to Russia. This is reported by «Fakty».
The contractor will need to monitor information on significant arms deals in open sources in Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Urdu, English and other languages. The obtained information must be reported to the state Department so it can make decisions on imposing sanctions.
It is noted that the contractor will be selected on a competitive basis. Also, educational institutions are allowed to participate in the competition.
Contract with contractor will be concluded for a one-year period.
