In Kharkiv, State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting, together with employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, conducted verification activities during which several violations were identified. In particular, four entrepreneurs were fined because of the illegal sale of books from Russia without permits. About this reports the press service of the State Committee for Television and Radio.

«Fines amounting to 37 thousand 230 UAH are imposed on individuals-entrepreneurs Zhuravlev I. M., Kudya A. Ya., Naumov O. I. and Shevchenko V. M.», the message says.

It is noted that the books that were distributed without permits, withdrawn from circulation.

Recall, on January 1, 2017, the Law of Ukraine «On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Concerning Restricting Access to the Ukrainian Market of Foreign Printed Products of Anti-Ukrainian Content» entered into force, according to which publishing products originating or manufactured and / or imported from the territory of the aggressor state , temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, may be imported into the customs territory of Ukraine and distributed on its territory with the relevant permission, except the publishing products imported by citizens in their hand luggage or accompanying baggage a total of no more than 10 copies.
