On July 10 at the government meeting the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman ordered the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defense to finance a military parade on Ukraine’s Independence Day. Uriadovy portal reports about it.
Groisman stressed the necessity of the parade, since it should demonstrate dignity and valor of our troops, as well as respect for the military.
“I am instructing the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defense to calculate the costs of the parade, not at the expense of raising social standards, but at the expense of other sources. Meanwhile the proposal of the President of Ukraine to allocate UAH 300 million to raise standards for soldiers is also right. And I support this idea. The issue of financial support of our warriors was and remains one of the priorities. The Ukrainian military is already paid above 10 thousand UAH”, said the head of government.
Previously The Journalist reported, the average salary in Ukraine rose to UAH 10,269 for the past year.
