Today, on May 14, during the signing of a new trilateral General Agreement with trade unions and employers, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman noted that the government has a clear guideline on the average wage in Ukraine – $ 620. This is a real indicator that will increase the motivation of Ukrainians to work on their own economy, reports Uryadovy portal.
“Our government has already created mechanisms that allowed increasing the minimum wage by 3 times in the last 3 years, the average – 2 times … The government has a clear guideline on the average wage in Ukraine for 2021. In dollar terms, this is $ 620 – an absolutely real figure that will help increase the motivation of Ukrainians to work for their own economy,” said the Prime Minister.
Also, the head of government stressed that the middle class should be developed in Ukraine, and in subsequent years, the Cabinet of Ministers will do everything possible to fulfill this task.
Previously, the “Journalist” reported that for the year the average Ukrainian salary increased to 9429 UAH.
