Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepaniv during the briefing held on May 11, said that Poltava region fully paid the premium to health workers for March, 2020.
“The only region that really paid in full is Poltava Oblast,” the minister said.
According to Stepaniv, on average, each health worker in Oblast, who worked with the COVID-19 infected patients, received about UAH 21,000 – these are exactly the promised 300% premium.
The head of the Ministry of Health added that the situation in other areas is not encouraging, I will report to the prime minister and the president on this issue.
“We’ll figure it out. I’m sure that we will bring it to the end and all our health workers will receive the salary with the premiums,” Stepanov said.
