Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov during his briefing held June 25 said that additional drugs were added to the protocol of coronavirus treatment.
According to Stepanov, a meeting of a working group with leading experts on updating the standards of treatment of COVID-19 was held on June 24.
“The issues of introducing additional drugs were considered in order to expand protocol of COVID-19 treatment, which is based on our experience, clinical trials and the experience of other countries. For example, it was decided to introduce dexamethasone,” Stepanov said.
The head of the Ministry of Health also drew attention to compliance with the following rules and recommendations, such as wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and using antiseptics.
