The American History Channel made a review of the modern Ukrainian battle tank Oplot-M, Defense Express informs.

The reviewed Oplot tank was created to participate in the tests for the army of Pakistan.

The video shows exclusive footage of Oplot tank shooting at a distance of about a mile (1,650 meters) at the target and overcoming various obstacles (cars, burning barricades).

“Unlike the overwhelming majority of models of the Soviet or post-Soviet era military equipment, the Ukrainian tank is capable of fairly quickly reversing (up to 35 km / h), has an automatic anti-aircraft gun, a panoramic sight and the ability to use modern ATGM Kombat with a semi-active laser control system beam, which [in the complex] are not implemented on any of the serial (adopted) tanks of the Soviet school. In addition, the Oplot tank has a powerful engine and modern fire control system,” said in a statement.
