Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk has noted that within a month the price of fuel decreased by UAH 2. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“The fight against illegal filling stations and individual communications with market participants resulted in drop of diesel fuel and gasoline price by UAH 2 in average over the month,” the PM wrote.
According to the head of government, from now on, Ukrainians spend on fuel UAH 511 million less per month.
Honcharuk also said that almost 4,000 illegal petrol stations across the country were inspected: part of them was closed; another part received a license for official work.
“In certain oblasts, for example, in Luhansk and Mykolaiv, fuel sales increased by 15%. In Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk and Cherkasy by 14%,” the message said.
As The Journalist reported, Honcharuk promises to close all illegal petrol stations in Ukraine by Jan 9, 2020.
