Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk has said that soon Ukrainians will be able to use mobile Internet even during flights.
According to the head of government, the 5G frequencies will be distributed between operators through open tenders.
“Expanding the range for mobile communications is an important step towards the emergence of high-quality Internet in small villages and remote regions,” Honcharuk said.
However, it is not specified how exactly 5G operating in the 900 MHz band will be able to reach the aircraft.
