EU will allocate € 3.5 million for creation of a European Institute on the basis of one of Kyiv universities

Ukrainian delegation in Brussels and deputies discussed the initiative to create a European institute on the basis of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. It is planned to allocate € 3.5 million for the implementation of this project. Interfax-Ukraine informs.

“It is very important that our partners in the EU have true information about what is happening in Ukraine, so today in Brussels, the Ukrainian delegation, together with a large number of European deputies, discussed the initiative to create a European institute based on Taras Shevchenko University,” said PD Serhii Berezenko .
Such an institution should become a “provider between Ukraine and Europe”. It will transfer information to international partners and will become a platform for generating new ideas. Also, Ukrainian students will be able to get additional opportunities and lectures on European integration.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that the EU has provided € 280 million to Ukraine for five years.
