The European Union has allocated almost EUR 300 million for humanitarian projects, restoration and development of Ukraine over the past five years. This statement was made by the Head of the Support Group for Ukraine in the European Commission Peter Wagner at a press briefing of the European Commission representatives in Mariupol, UNN reported.
“The European Union has allocated almost EUR 300 million, or more precisely EUR 280 million, for humanitarian projects, restoration and development of Ukraine over the past five years,” Wagner said.
He also noted that the group he headed was created almost five years ago to help Ukraine. The goal of this group now is to find out what other help for Ukraine is needed.
