A mission from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has begun discussing a new three-year support program to Ukraine, the IMF Resident Representative Office in Ukraine reported.
“The mission starts discussing new 3-year support IMF program as part of an expanded financing mechanism,” the report said.
According to the statement, discussions will continue in the coming weeks.
The head of the mission, Ron van Rooden, stressed that the Ukrainian authorities requested a new IMF support program, which would help to transform Ukraine’s economy and will improve the living standards of all Ukrainians.
