The general director of Ukrposhta, Igor Smelyansky, said that the experiment on the introduction of mobile branches, which took place in the Chernihiv oblast, was successful. Therefore, in “Ukrposhta” they offer offices in small villages throughout Ukraine to be replaced with such mobile offices, reports Hromadske.

“I believe that this is the only way to fully cover the territory of Ukraine. Therefore, post offices in villages where less than 2 thousand people live will always be unprofitable. Therefore, in an amicable way, this project should be extended to the whole territory of Ukraine,” said Igor Smelyansky.

The priority for such a project will be Kyiv, Vinnitsia and, possibly, Poltava oblasts.

Smelyansky also noted that to continue the implementation of projects for mobile post offices, investments are needed, and one of the international banks is ready to provide them.

Earlier, Journalist reported that “Ukrposhta” will buy gas through Prozorro from pre-selected suppliers.
