Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan said the Ministry warns of restricting transit freight in August-September if this creates significant difficulties for Ukrainian carriers. It is reported by Obozrevatel.
Omelyan noted that priority is given to the supply of oil and oil products, coal and grain exports, and then the transit issues.
“Today we clearly noted that our position is consistent. Priority is given to the supply of oil and oil products, coal and grain exports, and only then the issue of transit. This does not mean any restrictions if there are normal, planned transportations. If we see any threats to the first of these groups of goods, then of course we will be forced to declare conventions,” the minister said.
As The Journalist reported, Ukrzaliznytsia resumes commuter rail service in Donbas after five-year break.
