As the result of the difficult weather conditions 295 localities settlements were de-energized in Ukraine. This is reported by the press service of the State Service for Emergency Situations.
As a result of hail, thunderstorms and wind, due to the operation of the power transmission line protection system, 295 cities and villages in 4 regions were de-energized, namely: in Kyiv – 173, Vinnitsa – 72, in Zhitomirskaya oblast – 31, in Cherkasskaya oblast – 19. To the restoration of electricity supply, local brigades of oblenerho are involved.
In addition, it became known that in the city of Vasilkov, the Kyiv region roofs of 8 buildings, of which 2 five-story apartment houses and a kindergarten canteen were damaged. In the village of Glevaha Vasylkivskyi district, as a result of falling branches of a tree, 1 person (born in 1992) was injured, who was hospitalized in a state of moderate severity.
As «The Journalist» previously reported that an abnormally large hailstones in Zakarpattia broke roofs of 180 houses.
