According to 112.ua inforn agency, citing the Aide to the Head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Oleh Slobodyan, on the administrative border with the occupied (by the Russian Federation) Crimea was recorded the first case of poisoning of the border guards, working in close proximity to the plant Titan.
The cause of poisoning were the Plant’s previously recorded emissions.
«Border guards felt dizziness, nausea, headache, but after the appropriate medical advice and medication these symptoms were removed. Border guards were replaced and given the opportunity to rest, as well as they were provided with careful medical examination,» – said Slobodyan.
According to the Aide to the Head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, the Plant’s emissions do not harm to citizens of Ukraine who live on the administrative border with the peninsula.
«In principle, the situation stay unchanged. The wind continues to blow into the depth of the occupied peninsula, therefore, there are no serious threats for the citizens of Ukraine, who live on the administrative border in the Kherson Oblast; although they also feel deterioration of their well-being and see the impact on the environment,» – Slobodyan said.
As The Journalist reported earlier, Chemical emissions of Crimean plant Titan reached Kherson Oblast.
