The management of the British automotive company (which specializing in the production of premium off-road vehicles), has warned that a «bad» Brexit deal would couse the Jaguar to stop working in the UK. This is reported by UNN.

«A bad Brexit deal would cost Jaguar Land Rover more than £1.2bn profit each year. As a result, we would have to drastically adjust our spending profile; we have spent around £50bn in the UK in the past five years – with plans for another £80bn in the next five years. However, the wrong outcome of negotiations will put it at risk,» – the company’s management said.

In turn, Jaguar Land Rover chief executive Ralf Speth added that confidence in a favorable economic situation is necessary, thanks to which it will be possible «to continue investing a lot in the UK to continue to invest heavily in the UK, to secure our suppliers, users and 40,000 British workers.»
Recall that on Friday, July 6, the British government will meet for a special meeting on the overall strategy for negotiations on Brexit. The outcome of this meeting will be critical for further discussions with the European Union.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, the victory in the vote on Brexit would allow Theresa May to retain control over the British Government.
