The commander of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Volodymyr Kravchenko has said that the withdrawal of forces in Petrivske (Donbas) will take three days, RBC-Ukraine reports.

“The process of demining and dismantling of fortifications will start after the withdrawal of forces, and the #3 site is simpler for this purposes than Zolote area, because the withdrawal of forces does not affect settlements. Today at 12:00 we will launch a white signal flare. If the enemy does not respond, it will be possible to consider that they not only foiled the withdrawal process, but also violated international agreements,” the JFO commander said.

Kravchenko noted that the JF units will be withdrawn for 1 km, and the militants should do the same.

“The withdrawal process must be performed equally by both sides. Thus, the process should be fixed by the OSCE SMM representatives and our military with the JCCC,” Kravchenko said.

The JFO commander also said that the military would not lower the level of combat readiness if the withdrawal of forces began in Petrivske.

As The Journalist reported, Ukraine to start withdrawal of forces in Petrivske on Nov 8
