JFO zone in Donbas was visited by Colonel-General of the US Army (retired) D. Petreus and former head of the US Central Intelligence Agency David Petraeus. This reports JFO press service.
The American military made a visit to Avdiivka and visited the front of the Donetsk airport and noted the high level of professionalism of the Ukrainian military.
“The commanders we met were obviously very competent and experienced. The young Ukrainian guys in uniform, whom we saw, also made a big impression on me. Actually, all Ukrainians should be proud of them – and be grateful for their service”, said Petraeus.
He also noted that it is very sad to see what has been done with this part of Ukraine, but it pleases how many citizens agreed to serve Ukraine in the hour of war.
Petraeus assured that the United States and its allies will continue to help Ukraine.
