By the beginning of new school year in Kyiv (1st of September) a new school menu and change the organization of food in schools are planned be introduced. About this reported Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Valentyn Mondrievskiy.
“Now we are working on the creation of a new model of nutrition in metropolitan schools. The main goal of these changes is to increase the consumer properties of dishes, the level of food safety, as well as the creation of conditions to ensure a unified level of quality in all schools in Kyiv,” said Valentyn Mondrievskiy.
It is also planned to introduce a unified system of quality control over the observance of the norms of caloric content in conjunction with The State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
Deputy Chairman of the KSCA noted that new technological maps (recipes), standards for the material supply of canteens, product quality monitoring and multi-level quality control of the services provided will be introduced.
