Kyiv was returned an old building on Andrew’s descent worth 2.8 million UAH

To territorial society of Kyiv city was returned building on Andrew’s descent No. 22-a, worth almost 2.8 million UAH, press service of General Prosecutor’s Office, referring to Supreme Court decision of September 11.

Prosecutor’s office noted that on the basis of the ruling of the economic court of the Kharkiv oblast, abolished by Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine, said two-story building in historical center of capital illegally left communal property in favor of a private structure without the relevant decision of the Kyiv City Council and payment of any monetary funds.

As a result of these illegal actions, disputed non-residential premises illegally became property of a private structure without the consent of real owner.

«In addition, in order to complicate the process of returning property to communal property, disputed premises were repeatedly alienated, including in favor of foreign companies. At the same time, the last alienation occurred despite court imposing an arrest on he disputed property», prosecutor’s office said.
