Utility company Kyivteploenergo will not increase tariffs for heat energy for the population by the end of 2018. This informs the press service of the company.
«Due to the increase in the price of natural gas», Kyivteploenergo initiated a public discussion on adjusting the current tariffs for the production of thermal energy at the CHPP in December 2018. The project concerned tariffs for the production of heat energy for the category of «population» and «religious organizations». However, taking into account the long procedure for reviewing the draft tariffs at NERCP, 30 calendar days, Kyivteploenergo decided that by the end of 2018, tariffs will not be changed», the report said.
At the same time it is noted that the cost of heat energy production varies in proportion to the change in gas prices.
Recall that on October 19, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine raised the price of gas for the population from November 1 by 23.5% to UAH 8550 per thousand cubic meters.
Previously, «Journalist» reported that Groysman promises that tariffs for heat after rising gas prices cannot be raised by more than 16%.
