Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said that the reconstruction and construction of 11 educational institutions will be carried out this year. This is reported by the press service of Vitali Klitschko.
It is reported that the educational institutions in Kyiv are being prepared to the beginning of the academic year, so that the children have the necessary conditions for studying.
According to Klitschko, construction and reconstruction of 11 educational institutions in Kyiv are planned in 2018. They include 3 schools (the construction of one school, the complete reconstruction of one school and an additional building to one of the capital’s schools), and 8 kindergartens.
It is noted that of the eight planned kindergartens for 2018 (seven completely reconstructed and one is new), three kindergartens have already been opened in the capital, including a new ones. One will open to the Day of Knowledge. Another four reconstructed kindergartens – in Holosiivskyi, Obolonskyi, Darnitskyi and Pecherskyi districts – are planned to be opened by the end of the year.
«This will allow to create 2225 additional places in kindergartens in Kyiv in 2018,» – the report said.
