Kyiv authorities plan to begin the second stage of easing restrictive measures on May 22, according to the mayor of the capital, Vitalii Klitschko, who said this during an online press conference.
To Klitschko, subject to safety regulations and conditions the industrial markets and large stores with an area of up to 1000 square meters, gyms and fitness centers (except pools) will begin to work.
He also added that the city plans to resume the operation of ground public transport in normal mode after May 22.
“Now we are gradually increasing the number of rolling stock units and the number of ground public transport routes. Is Kyiv ready to resume work of the metro from May 25? We are waiting for the corresponding governmental decision,” Klitschko emphasized.
