Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Kryklii said Ukraine planned to sell part of the shares of Ukrposhta and Ukrzaliznytsia to investors. He wrote about this on Facebook.
According to the minister, this will contribute to the modernization of enterprises.
“This does not mean that they will go under the hammer, but it is a convincing signal that the state budget will be replenished with money, and investors will be able to modernize enterprises,” Kryklii wrote.
The head of the ministry also added that the state will retain at least 51% of the shares of strategic enterprises, and it will work on the search for strategic investors.
