Switzerland is in the top 10 foreign investors in Ukraine. Now it is the state invested in the country’s economy more than $ 1.5 billion. This was told on his Facebook page, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv.
«I met with Secretary of State for Economic Affairs of Switzerland, Ms. Marie-Gabriel Inaichen-Fleisch. Switzerland is in the top 10 foreign investors in Ukraine. The increase in Swiss investment as of July 1, 2018 was $ 20.3 million, in general, Switzerland invested more than $ 1.5 billion in the economy of Ukraine», wrote Stepan Kubiv.
According to him, the largest volume of Swiss investment in Ukraine went to industry, which is almost 60% of the total investment from this country or $ 912 million.
«We will continue to develop all-round cooperation between our countries in all directions», the official added.
