The mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko reported 215 new coronavirus cases in Kiev over the past day, bringing the total number to almost 11,000.
“The number of coronavirus patients in Kyiv has increased sharply again. Over the past day, 215 people were infected with coronavirus, including 13 children. To date, there are already 10,945 confirmed cases, “Klitschko said.
Among those who got infected on previous day are:
• 110 women aged 18 to 90;
• 92 men aged 18 to 83;
• five girls aged from 3 to 17 and eight boys aged 1 to 17.
This figure also includes four health workers.
“We also record increase in the number of new hospitalizations per day: 49 patients were admitted to hospitals in Kyiv. The rest are staying on self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors,” Klitschko wrote.
Over the past day 26 people have recovered, bringing the total number to 3,350.
The highest number of the new cases was registered in Darnytskyi district (35), Podilskiy district (26) and Desnyanskiy district (22).
