The mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko reported more than 209 new cases of coronavirus over the past day.
In total, 12,023 confirmed coronavirus cases have already been registered in the capital.
Among those who got infected on previous day are:
- 119 women aged 18 to 85;
- 75 men aged 21 to 83;
- 15 children (7 girls aged from 1 to 15, and 8 boys aged 1 to 11).
This figure also includes three health workers.
Some 29 patients were Hospitalized. The rest are staying at home on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.
Over the entire period of the pandemic, the coronavirus claimed 170 lives of Kyiv residents, up three on previous day.
In total, 3,826 residents of the capital have overcome the coronavirus including 60 people recovered over the past day.
The highest number of new cases was recorded in Desnyanskyi district (39), Dniprovskyi district (28) and Solomyanskyi district (26).
