The mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko reported new 280 coronavirus cases over the past day:
“The number of coronavirus patients in Kyiv is far from decreasing: over the past day, the virus was found in 280 people: 26 of them are children. In total, the coronavirus claimed 222 lives of Kyiv residents, up 4 on previous day. To date, there are already 14,158 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the capital.”
Among those who were infected on previous day are:
• 142 women aged 18 to 87;
• 112 men aged 18 to 81;
• 17 girls aged from 8 months to 17, as well as 9 boys aged from 2 to 12.
This figure also includes 14 health workers.
Some 35 patients were hospitalized. The rest are staying on self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
