The mayor of the capital, Vitalii Klitschko reported 567 new cases of coronavirus in Kyiv over the past day.
“The situation with the spread of the virus is alarming. Without exaggeration. For the first time Kyiv recorded 567 cases over the past day. Ten cases were fatal,” the message reads.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases totaled 26,463.Coronavirus death toll reached 463.
Among those who were infected on previous day are:
- 330 women aged 18 to 95;
- 202 men aged 19 to 83;
- 11 girls aged 6 to 17 and 24 boys aged one year to 17.
- Daily figure also includes 29 health workers.
In total 78 patients were hospitalized. Another are staying on self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
Over the past day, 295 people have recovered. In total, 9,411 residents of Kyiv have overcome the coronavirus.
The highest number of cases were recorded in Desnianskyi district (117), Obolonskyi district (83) and Dniprovskyi district (71).
