The mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko reported 95 new cases of coronavirus, two fatalities over past day.
On August 26, Ukraine has 12,248 confirmed coronavirus cases. In total, the coronavirus claimed 174 lives of Kyiv residents.
Among those who got infected on previous day are:
- 47 women aged 22 to 85;
- 42 men aged 19 to 82;
- 3 girls aged from 5 to 17 and 3 boys aged from 6 to 17.
Some 26 patients were hospitalized. The rest are staying on self-isolation, under the supervision of health workers.
In total, 3,907 residents of Kyiv have recovered from the coronavirus, up 54 on the previous day.
The highest number of new cases was recorded in Dniprovskyi district (23), Desnyanskyi district (13) and Obolonskyi district (12).
