The mayor of the capital Vitalii Klitschko has reported another 277 coronavirus cases over the past day.
“The number of coronavirus patients in Kyiv has increased by 277 people over the past day. Among them are 17 children. Six fatal cases reported in past day, bringing the death toll to 208.In total, 13,370 confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the capital to the day,” Klitschko wrote.
Among those who were infected on previous day are:
• 138 women aged 18 to 88;
• 122 men aged 18 to 77;
• twelve girls aged from 2 to 17 and five boys aged from 8 to 13.
This figure also includes 9 health workers.
Some 32 patients were hospitalized. The rest are staying on self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
In total, 4339 residents of Kiev have overcome the coronavirus, up 20 on previous day.
The highest number of new cases was reported in Desnyanskyi region (63), in Darnytskyi region (38), in Obolonskyi and Solomianskyi regions (33 each).
