Kyiv will not conduct mass testing of people for coronavirus, avoiding the example of Slovakia. This was stated by the mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko.
“The fact is that no large country does mass testing of its citizens. It is too complicated both technically and logistically. Laboratories will not be able to process a very large number of tests in a short time. Free tests in public medical institutions are done to patients with suspected coronavirus only on the recommendation of a doctor,” the report says.
Today the number of tests in Kyiv is the highest in Ukraine – more than 350 tests per 100,000 of the population.
