Latvian airline launches Riga – Lviv flight

Latvian national airline airBaltic to launch a new flight between Riga and Lviv from April 1, 2019, the press service of the airline quoted Martin Gauss, CEO of airBaltic as saying.

“Our ‘Destination 2025’ business strategy provides for a steady growth of the network of airline’s destinations. We will continue to increase the number of flights from all three capitals of the Baltic countries … Lviv is our third destination in Ukraine,” said Martin Gauss.

The report notes that flights Riga – Lviv will be operated 4 times a week, starting April 1, 2019. Ticket price corresponds to the existing fares. In particular, the Basic tariff is EUR 49, the Premium tariff is EUR 115 and the Business tariff is EUR 399.

The route to Lviv will be serviced by a Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft and will last 1 hour 50 minutes.

As The Journalist reported, several Kherson-Istanbul flights of the Turkish airline were canceled.
