Lviv airport increases passenger traffic since beginning of the year

Passenger traffic at the Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport increased up to 155,200 passengers in April of this year, or by 48.2% compared with the same period last year, the airport press service reported on its Facebook page.

It is reported that 104,700 thousand passengers use the airport in Lviv in April 2018, while in the April of 2019 the passenger traffic was 155,200 people.

It is noted that 1,475 flights were made during the fourth month of the current year.

“In general, for January-April 2019, the passenger traffic in the airport increased by 51.9% compared to the same period last year (345,400 passengers) and reached 524,600 passengers,” the report said.

At the same time, the number of flights increased by 27.9% – from 3,974 to 5,081.
