The decision on the date of delivery of the coronavirus vaccine to Ukraine will be made on November 19. Chief sanitary doctor Viktor Lyashko said that Ukraine will receive a maximum of 8.5 million doses. He spoke about this at a briefing, reports RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, the country is working with the COVAX mechanism, which will ensure the supply of a vaccine against coronavirus disease to Ukraine.
“Today we clearly understand that we will receive the number of doses, which will be equal to 20% of the population. We are talking about a maximum of 8.5 million doses,” the message says.
The first tranche is expected to be 3%.
