On August 16, the mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko reported 104 coronavirus cases, one fatal cases over the past day.
“In total, there are already 10,642 confirmed coronavirus cases in the capital; the infection has claimed 154 lives of Kyiv residents,” Klitschko wrote.
Among those who got infected on previous day are:
- 44 women aged between 20 and 71
- 53 men aged 21 to 84
- 4 girls aged 7 months to 12 and 3 boys aged from 9 to 16.
This figure also includes four health workers.
Some 21 patients were hospitalized, the rest remain in self-isolation, under the supervision of health workers.
“The highest number of the new cases in Kyiv was registered in the Dniprovsky district (21), Darnytskiy and Solomyansky districts (16 each), and Shevchenkivskiy district (10),” the message reads.
