Over the past day, the militants resorted to 120mm and 82mm mortars, banned by Minsk agreement, as well as grenade launchers of various systems, weapons mounted on the infantry fighting vehicles, AA guns, heavy machine guns and small arms to attack positions of Ukrainian defenders 15 times, according to the press service of the Joint Forces Operation.
The enemy opened fire 12 times in the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group, namely, near Verkhniotoretske, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, Pavlopil, Hnutove, as well as Starohnativka, Taramchuk, Avdiivka, and Maryinka.
In the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] tactical group, militants fired at the JF positions near Novotoshkivske, Horikhove, and Novozvanivka.
“As a result of enemy shelling, one Ukrainian defender was wounded,” the report reads.
