Militants continue to shell Ukrainian positions in Donbas

On October 13, the Russian-led armed groups violated the ceasefire regime 21 times in Donbas using mortars, banned by the Minsk agreements, cannons mounted on the infantry fighting vehicles (IFV), grenade launchers and small arms. No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day, as the press center of the Joint Forces Operations (JFO) headquarters said on Facebook.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, the militants launched seven attacks on Ukrainian positions near Pisky, Vodiane, Pavlopil, Chermalyk and Pyshchevyk.

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the Ukrainian fortified positions came under the enemy fire 14 times near Novoluhanske, Zolote, Svitlodarsk, Popasna, Luhanske, Pivdenne and Krymske.

During the current day, the militants violated the ceasefire four times in the zone of action of tactical force “East” two times near Novotroitske and Lebedynske; in the zone of action of tactical force “North” the enemy resorted to RPGs and small arms in the area of ​​Khutir Vilniy.
