Militants deliberately delay dismantling of bridge fortifications in Stanytsia Luhanska

The Ukrainian side stated that it was ready to hold in kind the dismantling of the bridge fortifications in the Stanytsia Luhanska. This was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces Operation.

However, the JFO press service noted, the militants warned that work on the opposite side would continue until August 25, which makes it impossible to start work by the Ukrainian side.

“In connection with mine clearance in the area of the destroyed bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska, the Ukrainian side is ready to hold in kind the dismantling of fortifications. However, a message has been received from the temporarily occupied territory about the decision by the opposite side to continue work on until August 25, which makes it impossible to start work by the Ukrainian side,” the report says.
