On Friday morning, May 17, the militants shelled the residential building located in the city of Zolote, Popasnyansky Raion of Luhansk Oblast, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“At 07:30 am the missile, launched from enemy’s MLRS, hit the residential building in the city of Zolote, Popasnyansky Raion of Luhansk Oblast. The family living in this house was miraculously lucky: at the time of the shelling, the couple were in the yard. About 10,000 people now live in this city: in this way for most of them mornings begins. Police dispatched to the site of accident. They do their job: save people, clear rubble,” said the head of the National Police of Ukraine, Serhiy Knyazev.
Knyazev also stressed that today’s shelling is a reminder to everyone who thought that the war was over, and the terrorists did not shoot at people’s homes.
