Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry: the harvest of cereals was harvested from over 80% of targeted areas

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine (Ministry of Agrarian Policy) on the official website, as of August 3, early grains and leguminous crops were harvested from 8.0 million hectares (81% of the target) on an area with a yield at 33.2 t/ha, at least 26.5 million tons of new grain was harvested.
In particular, farmers collected: winter wheat, spring wheat, winter barley, spring barley, peas, rye, oats.

«In addition, 2.5 million tons of winter rapeseed has been harvested from an area of 953,000 hectares with a yield of 26.0 centners per hectare (98%) and 38,000 tons of spring rape from 18,400 hectares with a yield of 20.6 centners per hectare (28%),» – the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy said.
