The Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli marked Ukraine’s achievements in the field of education reform. It is reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
Mingarelli noted that the achievements of Ukraine in the field of education are extraordinary and exceptional.
“What you have been able to achieve in this short time under difficult conditions are extraordinary and exceptional achievements. What you have achieved over the past year is that not many people in many countries could boast of such results,” the EU representative said at the educational forum All-Ukrainian August Conference in Kyiv.
He noted that the decentralization reform is one of the main achievements of the current government, namely in the field of education, as public resources for education becoming available to local authorities.
“We are launching a new program, where EUR 58 million will be provided for the reform of vocational education in Ukraine, and this will be an important contribution,” Mingarelli said.
